Aromatherapy

Adding essential oils, which are concentrated plant extracts, to benefit your massage therapy appointment. Oils will be suited to the individual’s physical and mental, or emotional needs. All oils have their own unique character, aroma, and therapeutic properties. As they are highly concentrated a little goes a long way. They may take between 20-70 minutes to be absorbed depending on the oil
Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy. It does not provide a cure for diseases, rashes or illnesses, but it can support conventional treatment of various conditions.

I have the option to upgrade your massage with using pre-made Aromatherapy Blends or Coconut Oil. I will have 2 options that will change seasonally available at the reception desk you can inquire about.
These options are available for $3 (taxes included)

For Custom Blends these are the current oils I have available.
We can review together to suit your needs best and choose 1-3 oils to find your perfect balance. This option is $5 (taxes included)

Peppermint
Good for: Depression, poor concentration, mental fatigue, lethargy
Physical: Headaches and migraines, coughs, muscle aches and pains, fever, bee & wasp stings, IBS & indegestion, ansomnia, painful period & abdominal cramps
Safety: Pregnancy & breastfeeding, those using homeopatic remedies, heart palpatations

Eucalyptus
Good for: Lethargy, Good for people who feel emotionally “hemmed in”; unable to change or move forward
Physical: Colds & flu, coughs, sinusitis, bronchitis, laryngitis, arthritis & rheumatism, infected wounds, muscular aches & pains, general aches & pains, opens up the chest, safe for pregnancy

Tea Tree
Good for: Anxiety, lethargy, over-thinkers, worriers

Sweet Orange

Definitions:
Phototoxic: Reacts to the sun & UV light if applied to the skin before exposure. Can use pigmentation of the skin. Avoid direct sunlight for at least 12 hours after application.
