General Inquires:
q: Do you do Deep Tissue?
a: The answer is yes, but this has different meanings to different people.
Whether you are looking for a full body massage with more pressure applied or specific concerns to address regarding an issue you are having.
Either way we will discuss these options in your appointment, but you can choose a direction when you book online with either “Relaxation” or “Therapeutic” to give me an idea of what to expect when we meet.
q: I have sensitive skin/allergies, what kind of lotion/oil do you use?
a: Biotone is a professional massage therapy line, using the Advanced Therapy Massage Gel in the grapeseed, apricot & sesame, which is specifically labelled on the bottle: Hypoallergenic Sensitive Skin Formula. If you have concerns or issues with this brand, I have coconut oil as well.
If you have concerns please text me prior to your appointment.
q: I don’t have child care, can I bring my kids to my appointment?
a: Please text me your situation, I may call you if I need to discuss details. I have had good and bad experiences when children have been in attendance and will address this on a one to one basis. If you attend with children WITHOUT my permission, I am not guaranteed to fulfill your massage and you will be charge for a late cancellation appointment as stated on the website.
q: Can I book my child in for an appointment?
a: Yes I can treat children, but I prefer they have a need/reason vs “using my insurance”.
This is not limited to but can include; help destress (school or home issues that may be affecting your child), athletic children who are noticing aches and pains, growing pains. I have worked with young ones from age 4 -teen years.
Appointments must be booked in the child’s name, although phone and email can be doubled under parents information.
All appointments must be minimum 45 min for first time appointments. If your child is 10+ I recommend the hour for the first appointment. I can adjust it when we meet under assessment if less time is required.
